NURIXA Health and ANIPES Cameroon Launch International Nurse Training Initiative

NURIXA Health has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ANIPES Cameroon, a national association representing private higher education institutions in Cameroon, to support the education and professional readiness of internationally educated nurses.

The collaboration formally began on September 18, 2026, with an introductory session and the first training session for participating nurses and nursing students.

Through this initiative, NURIXA Health will help participants:

• Develop an understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and workplace environment;
• Learn about Canadian nursing standards, professional expectations, and patient-centred care;
• Better understand applicable nursing licensure and credential-recognition pathways;
• Strengthen their clinical, communication, and workplace-readiness skills; and
• Gain greater awareness of potential healthcare career pathways in Canada and other international markets.

The training is intended to help participants make informed decisions and prepare for future professional pathways. Participation does not guarantee licensure, immigration approval, or employment; these outcomes remain subject to the requirements of the relevant regulators, immigration authorities, and employers.

The MoU represents an important step in NURIXA Health’s international development and its commitment to working with credible education partners to strengthen healthcare workforce readiness.

By connecting education, professional preparation, licensure-pathway guidance, and workforce intelligence, NURIXA Health aims to support a more transparent and responsible pathway between qualified healthcare talent and health systems experiencing workforce shortages.

The September 18 kickoff established the foundation for continued training and collaboration between NURIXA Health, ANIPES Cameroon, participating institutions, and internationally educated nurses.
